Rv320 Easy Vpn Setup With Windows 7
I am actually going to install an RV320 tomorrow and try out the any connect VPN.
I will document and report back when I am done.

I have had this on an RV180. Turns out (on the RV180 at least) that neither VPN option will work if the host is running a 64bit O/S. On a 32 bit machine both work perfectly and I have verified this personally. I even tried running a 32 bit XP virtual machine but it still refused to work. I discovered this a year ago but so far I haven't seen a fix for this ridiculous flaw.
And for the sake of precision, whilst it does say Cisco on the box, it's actually Linksys garbage that Cisco have not yet repaired.

It's only the Linksys box that it doesn't work on. If you use proper Cisco gear AnyConnect is an excellent feature.

Which version of Firmware are you using?
On Cisco's site and on the CD that came with it, it has a 64 bit installer and I currently have it installed without any issues. Now I have yet to make the VPN connection, I will attempt that tomorrow when I install the router.
Easy VPN—Allows remote users to connect this device by using Cisco VPN
Client (also known as Cisco Easy VPN Client) utility (available on the product
CD):
- Version 5.0.07 supports Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows Vista
(32-bit and 64-bit), and Windows XP (32-bit)
- Version 4.9 supports Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5
- Version 4.8 supports Intel based Linux

My RV180 is on current firmware. The AnyConnect client is also current and is the 64 bit MSi installer 'cos the Cisco site detects the PC's capabilities and supplies the right client. I tried to download the 32 bit .exe but it kept defaulting back to the MSi. I realise I could download the exe using a 32 bit machine and drop it onto the 64 bit machine but it really shouldn't be this hard to get a VPN to work.

I got it to work with my RV320. Let me know if you want step by step, I will set it up on another laptop and take some screen shots and post them.

Yeah if you got anyconnect to work I would love to see the step by step plus what needs to be set on the router. I'm sure I've got everything proper but I'm missing somewhere evidently...

I am going to assume anyconnect is just like Easy VPN, the VPN client that comes with the RV320. They both have the same version number when I looked them up on Cisco's site,Cisco Systems VPN Client 5.0.07.0440. So I used Easy VPN. It took some time on my part, but I remember what I did. Give me 20 minutes or so so I can get a cup of coffee, and get my test notebook out.

Sounds awesome....I did get the regular vpn client to work. But I've noticed that support for it is going away I would like to get anyconnect to work as it seems that's the only client I can really find for mobile devices aswell...

My understanding about anyconnect is you have to have a license for it, which I do not have, it will not let me download it from Cisco's site. Which is odd because it is free in the App Store, but from my reading, unless I am understanding it wrong, is that you need a license to get it work.

fair enough....I'll have to look into that then...thanks for that
Cheers,

Hello , i too recently bought a cicso RV320 and have been trying to find a way connect to it through anyconnect from windows and android phones. What i have managed till now is to use the build in client from the cd that was in the cicso rv320 package and connect to it with easy vpn ( Easy VPN Tutorial from Cisco ) , and i was able to find this out from this link with a tutorial from youtube - YouTube Tutorial . I have not tried using anyconnect for windows, but had no luck at configuring my rv320 correctly or making anyconnect for my android phone work with it. Finding out about using anyconnect for windows and android and configuring rv320 correctly for this would be perfect.

When looking at the Cisco AnyConnect app in the App Store, it says you have to have a license in order for it to work. So I am guessing it will not work.
However TheGreenBow, http://www.thegreenbow.com/vpn/vpn_down.html, and Shrew Soft, https://www.shrew.net/download/vpn, should both work.

I know this post is old
But anyone had any luck w/ Shrew and RV320 doing a Group VPN tunnel?
I can do just a plain VPN Tunnel Config on RV320, but would like for the Group VPN tunnel to work.
