The Sonia Kashuk Limited Edition "Jewel of an Eye" Eye Couture Palette
With autumn nearly to make its large debut, what's one style to stay on tendency without breaking the bank?
The Sonia Kashuk Limited Edition "Jewel of an Eye" Eye Couture Palette
Perhaps you've already stocked up on fall staples over the summer — a chichi cherry lipstick, a blackness liquid liner, a deep plum (and) or berry gloss — and are maxim to yourself, "Whee!" and asking, "What else tin we put in in that location?"
Throw some precious stone-toned shadows into the mix
Ya know, for emerald, bister, amethyst and sapphire smokey optics. All are so, And then concerning with knee-high boots, tweed blazers and snuggly, chunky knits.
Ah… I tin almost hear the leaves crunching beneath my feet and Tabs whining considering of how chilly information technology is outside (too chilly to go for his daily walk). Possibly we should get matching turtlenecks — my cat and I — considering that's what I actually need — to give my neighbors some other reason to think I'1000 a crazy cat lady. 🙂
As far as fall makeup, I suppose we could hunt and peck for precious stone-toned duos and trios, or spend an arm and a leg searching for "the perfect combo," but who has time for all that?
Attempt this: tell your hubby/honey/Ryan Gosling that you'll be dorsum in 10 minutes, considering we're going to Target to cheque out Sonia Kashuk's new "Jewel of an Centre" Eye Couture Palette ($19.99).
Okay…brand that 30 minutes. Nosotros both know that Target is a time warp. We'll never go out of there in less than xv.
12 pans of shimmer
This 12-pan palette of intense, shimmery shadows pulsates with possibilities for trendy jewel-toned looks, and information technology's RAD.
Craving colorful eye looks?
Sometimes I might wearable just one of these shades by itself (like the nighttime purple shadow in the first row — my fave!), but this palette is perfect for more complicated looks and smokey eyes. In that location are then many great color combos here, and the shadows blend easily and last through the day with the assistance of an eye primer.
Jewel of an Eye is one of those palettes that merely works in and so many dissimilar ways. No matter which 2 shades I vesture together, the combinations ever work. I've even mixed and layered colors together to create custom shades, which is a lot of fun when you have an hour or two at home to merely play.
Jewel of an Eye shines, and its shadows take hold of the light, but the shadows in Sonia'southward Moroccan Dunes eye palette shine fifty-fifty brighter.
Any potential problems with this palette?
Just one pocket-sized one I can come across: I do detect a minor amount of fallout from these shadows. Not so much that it's a deal breaker for me. Just something to keep in heed.
The concluding give-and-take
This is a great little palette, and seriously, I tin't believe information technology costs less than 20 bucks! I think information technology'south easily on par with products from Also Faced and Urban Decay.
Go on with yer bad cocky, Sonia! This jeweled palette'south a gem. 🙂
PRICE:Â $19.99

A little light reading…
Greetings and salutations on this terrific Tuesday, friend!
Got a book recommendation for ya… If you like thrillers and mysteries, bank check out Dark Places past Gillian Flynn.
Could. Not. Put. Information technology. Downwardly.
I likewise read Flynn'south Gone Girl earlier this year and couldn't put that ane down, either. I liked Dark Places but as much.
The book stars Libby Day. As a child, her female parent and two sisters are murdered in what the media dub "The Satan Sacrifice of Kinnakee, Kansas." Libby survives and achieves fame when she testifies that her 15-year-old brother, Ben, committed the act.
The plots weaves back and forth between the dark of the crime and the nowadays day, 25 years later. Libby is drawn back into the events of the murder when a grouping called the Kill Club, a group obsessed with investigating notorious crimes, finds her. The club suspects Ben's innocence and hopes to discover proof to free him.
It'south a quick, suspenseful read — night in some parts, so be prepared for that. All in all, though, I loved the story and the writing. Gillian Flynn'south got game.
Have yous read any expert books lately?
Your friendly neighborhood dazzler addict,
Karen
